The following options are upgrades only; they are priced as an exchange for the standard Udor RO160
COMET IDS 1400 This unit is a high pressure pump with 35 US Gallons per minute volume, and a maximum pressure of 700 PSI. It is a four-diaphragm pump with stainless steel valves and seats. When this pump option is chosen we us a chain drive on the offset to reduce the RPM’S of the pump down to 450 RPM, again this effectively reduces the volume to 29 US Gallons per minute from this pump as we set it up. The chain is utilized because at high pressures the horsepower requirements would exceed what a belt could accommodate. With this option we upgrade the electric valves to 600-PSI high-pressure electric valves to accommodate the potential operating pressures. This upgrade is included in the optional price for the pump.
COMET IDS 2000 This unit is a high pressure pump with 52 US gallons per minute volume, and a maximum pressure of 700 PSI. It is a five-diaphragm pump with stainless steel valves and seats. When this pump option is chosen we do not offset the pump, because of the horsepower requirements to run this pump we install in on the front, with the driveline directly thru the pump running at 540 RPM’S. With this option we upgrade the electric valves to 600-PSI high-pressure electric valves to accommodate the potential operating pressures. This valve upgrade in diaphragm pump models is included in the optional price for the pump.
We would suggest that should a customer request this option, that the salesperson should inform the potential customer of the disadvantages of having the driveline thru the pump and determine if the customer is being best served by this choice or if another alternative may be available to achieve what the customer requires. The pump is an excellent pump, the horsepower requirements of high pressures demand, that we run the pump in this undesirable fashion and Slimline Manufacturing Ltd would suggest that if an alternative can achieve the same results required, that they be investigated prior to ordering this option.
This unit is not available on the TurboSteer Series because it is only offered in the front mounted hi drive setup.
