Pumps

Standard Diaphragm pump: Udor RO160
For Optional Diaphragm pumps Click Here

UDOR RO160:
This pump has four diaphragms, all moving parts are immersed in oil, the pump has stainless steel valves and seats, neoprene thrust washers and needle bearings on the cam shaft as well as a built in pulsation damper. This pump develops 284-PSI maximum pressure and has a 35 US gallon per minute volume as set up by Turbo-mist.

With the reduction drive setup on all Turbo-mist models we slow the speed of the pump down from 540 RPM on the PTO to run the pump at 450 RPM’S.  This effectively reduces the volume of the pump produced by our setup to 35 US Gallons per minute from the 43 US gallons per minute achieved at 540 RPM’S. We at Slimline feel this is a good trade off for the pump protection afforded by our offset reduction drive.

On Udor pumps two V belts running side by side on a dual pulley achieve this offset reduction.  The correct tension on those belts is 7.2 pounds on 1/8-inch deflection.

Centrifugal pump:
Myers I2CI/2C95. This pump is a high capacity, two stage balanced centrifugal with cast iron impellers, oil lubricated ceramic seals with oil reservoir, large bearings and air bleed lines from each stage back to the tank to provide self priming as engineered in our units. This pump utilizes 2-inch suction intake and 1.5 inch discharge.  As is standard with all centrifugal pumps, the customer must be cautioned against running this pump dry as that will cause overheating and pump failure.  Pump failure due to lack of water will not be covered under warranty.

The correct tension on the belt driving this pump is 9 pounds on ¼ inch deflection

A copy of the alignment of the Myers pump can be obtained from the Turbo-mist parts book in the parts department.

This pump as setup by Turbo-mist, on S30P models will produce a volume output of  60 US Gallons per minute utilizing about 12 horsepower to achieve this.
