This uniquely designed tower allows the operator to adjust the tower outlet air delivery angle. The 13 nozzle shut -off design allows the operator to adjust for different spray heights and application rates. Installation can be done by one person but is easily accomplished by two in a matter of minutes. Towers are available in two sizes for all Turbo-Mist units, 19 inch, 24 inch and 30 inch models. This tower in the standard height is designed to work best on tree heights of 12 feet in plantings such as apples and soft fruit. Some towers are used horizontally for strawberries as well. Over all height of the standard height high-density tower is 90 inches.
A tall version is offered that is 12 inches taller, at 102 inches, this model will cover up to 15 foot high trees and is available only in the 30 inch models, in both carbon and Stainless steel.
Split dilute concentrate booms may be ordered for all of these towers. This option has the bottom 7 nozzles on one switch and the top 6 nozzles on another switch, this gives a total of four zones Notice no additional cost was added for this option over a regular DC boom Low Drift tower but is special order. It will only work with a sprayer equipped with a split boom electric setup.
Low drift towers can easily be removed and regular outlets replaced, the towers have their own hoses so it is a simple matter of undoing one bolt, and unscrewing the hoses. The towers weigh approximately 205 lbs so are best handled by two men but can be managed by one experienced operator.
