Grape towers can be used alone or in combination with an up spray unit to make a short stack, with the addition of a hydraulic kit, the intended target zone changes entirely to reach both sides of the row at one time.
STANDARDGRAPETOWER- option # 240 or 240B
This tower is available for both the 24” (option 240) and 30” (option 240B) Turbo-mist sprayers.
The tower is manufactured from 14-gauge mild steel c/w angle iron reinforcing in high stress areas. The adjustable top outlets through the use of a turnbuckle, allows the operator to direct the spray where he wants it. (Optional hydraulics are available upon request.) Each spray outlet has the front mounted boom with 4 spray nozzles. The tower is able to grow as the vineyard grows with the addition of one and two ft extensions between the mounting base and the tower.
Another feature of the Turbo-mist grape tower is the fact it can be unbolted in minutes to allow the operator to utilize the machine for regular spraying. For ease of transportation the tower folds down over the tank enabling it to be transported easily behind a vehicle.

The base measures 36 inches in height and the folding tower 65 inches. Total overall height of the unit is 101 inches. One or two foot extensions are available to allow the customer-to-customer design the unit for their vineyard.

The short stack is a combination of option 240B and 960B
Add option 960B, a 30 inch up spray behind a grape tower and you have a California short stack, to compete with Air-0-fan & Bean
Over the row hydraulic extensions kit for the grape tower: Option # 295 This kit may only be added to a 30” standard grape tower, it is our experience that a one foot extension to the grape tower will enhance the performance in this configuration.
This kit consists of two hydraulic actuated slides that allow the operator to adjust for different width rows, this coupled with hydraulically adjustable outlets, give the operator infinite adjustments spraying both sides of the target row, on both sides of the sprayer. With this kit air and chemical are directed out over the row and back at the outside of the same row the sprayer is traveling down, as well the traditional coverage from the rear outlets covers the inside of the row and a up spray blower could be added to get up under the vines if desired.
UNDER VINE BLOWERS FOR GRAPES
Turbo-mist makes two versions of the under vine blower, one for 24 inch models and one for the 30 inch model, they are designed for different applications, on different machines in different row widths, with different cane conditions.
Option # 960B Up spray vine blower 30 inch This unit can be combined with the option 240B, a 30 inch grape tower to form a grape tower with up spray that is designed to compete with short stack units build by our competitors. These units are built only for 30-inch turbine machines.
On these units the wings that breakaway are 15 inches long and only break backward. They are adjustable by a total of 12 inches for overall width, the narrowest overall width being 96 inches and the widest setting being 108 inches. The breakaway portion has adjustable air vanes and four adjustable nozzles in the air stream.
