30” ROTARY CANNON
ü This attachment is designed for the S30P series; it is hydraulically controlled with a 270-degree sweep available to the operator. ü Tests have shown coverage can be achieved right from the tire of the sprayer outward, when this setup is chosen (to give coverage tight to the machine) the maximum reach with equal coverage is around 60 feet in minimal wind conditions.
ü The unit is capable of coverage up to 100 feet, however to achieve this the setup and nozzling will not allow cover to start right at the unit.
ü The operator can point the cannon into the wind if necessary, it will function in any position therefore giving it great versatility and can even be utilized on sloping ground. The operator uses his hydraulics to adjust the throw distance by adjusting the angle of the four wind directors pictured in the center photo above. All adjustments are made from the tractor seat. This attachment requires two hydraulic spools (4 openings) to operate it, one for the circular movement and one for the vertical adjustment.
ü When this unit is shipped assembled on a sprayer, the top rotating section will be removed and must be reattached by the dealer for delivery. This is to avoid unnecessary damage to the unit and the turbine during shipment.
This unit can be ordered as a one side fixed unit by deducting the rotation unit from the head, it still allows the throw to be adjusted hydraulic but will not turn. |
