Please note the opening size is the mouth of the outlet, if you add the distance from the ground to the bottom of the tower you will have the height the top of the tower will be at, this will vary depending upon whether the axles are in low or high position but generally you will add at least a foot.

Example: The LDT30S97 (tallest version) will be approximately 109 inches from the ground to the top of the tower (9 feet)  if the tower is perfectly vertical.

The LDT19-60 and LDTS68 are designed cover trees to 6-8 heights (perfect for vines)
The LDT24S78 is designed to cover trees to 12-foot heights (Depends on row width)
The LDT30S85 is designed to cover trees to 12-foot heights (Depends on row width)
The LDT30S97 is designed to cover trees to 15-foot heights (Depends on row width)
If the average tree is above 15 feet we recommend using standard rear outlets.

The average weight of towers is from 160 lbs to 230 lbs depending upon size

TURBOMIST LOW DRIFT TOWERS

IMMEDIATE BENEFITS OF ADDING A LOW DRIFT TOWER TO ANY  TURBOMIST SPRAYER BUILD SINCE THE MID 1960’S.

  1. ELIMINATE VISIBILITY – by eliminating the vertical over spray common with airblast spraying, the tower allows you to operate in stealth mode, others will not even know you are spraying.
  2. REDUCE COSTS BY CHEMICAL THINNING – customers report saving $80 per acre annually by eliminating all manual thinning costs.
  3. REDUCE COSTS BY REDUCING CHEMICAL DUE TO IMPROVED COVERAGE – multiple customers across North America report an average reduction in bag rate of around 30% is practical.
  4. Better coverage means less sprays overall, if you keep control you save money.
  5. The satisfaction of contributing your share to environment responsibility by reducing your footprint in your own neighborhood.
