This pump takes considerable horsepower, in fact, it requires a direct drive setup because the horsepower requirements are to high for either a belt or chain, thus it is the only pump offered by Turbomist in a direct drive configuration, and it is only offered on the 450 series S38P600SC or S38P600STSC
