Wide mouth outlets produce 12% more air

The same 30 inch turbine puts out 12% more air with wider outlets which simple let the fan breath more but uses an additional 5% horsepower.

Standard outlets openings are 3 1/2 x 4  x 3 1/2 inches by 38 1/4 inches and produce 22,572 cfm of air

Wide mouth outlets are 4 1/2 x 5 x 4 1/2 inches by 38 1/4 inches and produce 25,551 cfm of air
