Chain drives are optional on 250 and 350 series series when a Udor RO160, our standard pump is ordered. When a high pressure pump such as the Udor Beta 150 (equivalent to an Comet IDS 1400 - also available) chain drive is standard since this pump develops to much horsepower demand at high pressures to be accomodated by a belt.

Chain drive has an advantage in organic farms where a considerable amount of oil is used, which can result in a belt slipping in windy conditions.
