250 SERIES LOW DRIFT TOWER OPTIONS:

The Turbomist Low Drift tower was first developed in 1993/4 with the help of Ralph Brojete at Prescott, Washington, for use on high density plantings.  Currently on the sixth generation, the tower has evolved from carbon steel to stainless steel and is now available in two (2) different heights in the 250 series and three (3) additional heights in the 350 series

- All towers, regardless of series, have individually adjustable stainless steel air deflectors to all you to tailor the air placement exactly where you need it, in additional, all towers are completely and simply adjustable for each side, that is you can lower or raise the angle of the tower to target different size trees.

- The 24 inch model tallest tower has a 78" opening that is designed to cover trees to 12 feet in height, while the shorter version with a 68 inch opening is designed for high density and dwarf trees and specifically for vineyards because it covers perfectly to the wire 6ft high in a perfectly vertical position. This allows an operator to spray virtually unseen by a passerby and gives excellent peneration to the target.

- All towers have a forward angle of attach of 11% to make sure the air flips the leaves and prevents shingling of the leaves.

- All towers can be changed by one man, each side weights less than 100 lbs, many operators actually change mid season from the tower which they use for chemical thinning and all their expensive spring chemicals, to their regular round outlets after first growth to enable them  to get thru the row once the limbs fillin or grow together later in the year.

- Tower owners report that they are generally able to reduce chemical use by an average of 30% over the year due to improved coverage and targeting while avoiding unwanted attention from neighbors while spraying.

Save $$$ with towers, save dollars by gearing up and throttling back, run your sprayer at 400-450rpm, save fuel and spray the canopy once.
