                  250 Series Turbomist Airblast Sprayer

This particular model is extremely narrow at 49 inches and extremely short at 138 inches, a full 3 feet shorter than the round 6 foot tank version of the 24 inch 300 gallon narrow. This is possible due to the oval tank which makes the machine higher, however it is still lower than most tractors, most certainly so if a cab tractor or if low drift towers are installed.

This Product is intended for use on all size farms including large corporate farms with vines or orchard trees that ideally will not extend above 12 feet in height for 24 inch turbine equipped units and 20 feet for 30 inch turbine equipped units.

The 250 Series Turbomist with 24 inch turbines are the perfect vineyard sprayers and ideal for soft fruit such as peaches, dwarf apple trees or super spindle high density style plantings.  To spray cherries or higher old growth apples the 30 inch turbine will be required.

-Availailable tank size of 300 US Gallons only

-All 250 series sprayers have a five  (5) inch tube frame.

-Each 250 series has a painted stainless steel 24" or 30" Turbomist turbine with adjustable air delivery and Turbomist air quality.  The Turbomist turbine design compresses the air to gaurantee even distribution from both outlets.  The nozzles are mounted out of the air stream to provide unobstructed air that actually shears the water droplets.  This is why the Turbomists design allows us to use smaller fan sizes than our competitors and produces superior results while taking less horsepower to generate the air.  At todays fuels prices this translates into $$$ saved.  The front air intake has the added bonus of eliminating sand blasting of the fruit common in rear intake competitors.

-All 250 Series tanks are made of polished 304 stainless steel with 14 guage wraps and 12 guage ends.

-Standard pump is the Udor RO160 (43US gallon volume with maximum pressure of 284PSI)

-Teejet electric ball valves with pressure adjust at the tractor seat are the only controls offered.

-Only 40  PTO Horsepower is required for a 24" Turbine 250 series sprayer and 55 PTO horsepower is required for a unit with a 30" turbine.

All units have a tank cradling saddle system which allows the frame to move independently of the tank and therefore greatly extends  the tank's life.  10 Year Warranty (5 Years full warranty, Pro-rated after 5years by 10% starting at 50% Warranty at the 6th year. )

-All units in this series have the Turbomist offset pump reduction drive which protects your pump from over speeding of the PTO.  At a PTO speed of 540 RPM the pump is operating at 450 RPM meaning even if the PTO is overdriven to 650 RPM's your pump will still remain below the critical operating zone of 550 RPM.  This is done by use of either belts or chains depending on the model and the option chosen.

-Turbosteer is available on selected models including 200, 300, and 400 US gallon units.

-All 250 series sprayers have the Turbomist bypass protection system.  This prevents diaphragm pump failure by diverting the excess water pressure back to the tank during non-spraying modes.

-All units have 21 spline 35 series drivelines by Wealser with run down clutches.

-Multiple attachments are available to customize a unit that works best for your needs.
